How you can help us to make a difference
If you would like to help, but don’t feel you have the time to volunteer, there are still other ways you can help us either at home or at work
Why not consider becoming a member of our Branch?
It costs just £5.00 per year (you can donate more if you wish). In return you receive our quarterly newsletter "Paws For Thought" and all membership money goes toward helping us to help more cats
Donate some food - All the food for our cats is donated by you, the general public.
We currently have food collection points at:
- Sainsbury's Park Farm
- Sainsbury's Town centre
Print for us - we are trying to get as much advertising as possible by putting posters out in as many prominently placed windows, notice boards etc as possible. If you are a business and think you could print a few posters for us we would be very grateful and in return will mention your business name at the bottom of all posters you print for us.
Display a poster - Could you display a poster in a prominent window or place at work? Maybe you live right by a bus stop and could display a poster for us for people to see.
Donate items for us to sell - Donated items for sale in our shop are constantly needed. Very little is discarded but if, for some reason, it is unsuitable for us to sell, we will either give it to another charity or it will be bought from us by a salvage company.
Have a collection tin - Have a collection tin for us at your place of work. You'll be surprised at how much your pennies add up to and we will empty it regularly and give you a certificate of thanks saying how much you raised.
Hold a coffee morning or home party (Tupperware etc) in aid of us. We can supply you with stickers and odds and ends to give your guests as a thank you for their support.
Donate some of your sales on eBay - If you sell on eBay you can donate some of your profits to us.
