Welcome to the Cats Protection South East Kent Branch
Our branch is run by dedicated volunteers who are striving to improve the lives of cats and kittens in our area.

We do have a selection of cats looking for homes, all our cats currently looking for homes are on our ‘Adopt a cat ‘ page, so keep checking and get in touch as soon as you see the cat of your dreams.

We would be pleased to hear from you if you are considering adopting a rescue cat who is eager to share your life.

Our cats come from a variety of different backgrounds and we aim to match the right cat to your family and circumstances, but because of the uncertain times of the last few months we have had to change the way we operate our rehoming, we now have in place our new handsfree scheme, which will not only protect you and our staff but will ensure the cat has as stress-free a transition as we can make it.

Please note, that when we have kittens available we do have lots of interest and we may only have a single kitten, our adoption team will ensure that the needs of the kitten will be met in their new home, and that is first and foremost in their search for the purrfect family.

All of our cats when ready to be rehomed, have been neutered (except kittens under 4 months who will come with a voucher) vaccinated, worm and flea treated, blood tested (if over 6 months) microchipped, and have been vet checked and are in good health. They also come with 4 weeks pet plan insurance and we will do a ‘virtual’ home check, our adoption prices are £75 per cat, £95 for a kitten.

Please click here for information on our handsfree homing scheme, if you are interested in adopting a cat please call 0345 260 1253 in office hours or via our 'contact us' page, we will then assess your situation, and decide if we have a cat that will match you and your circumstances, this may not be the cat you have chosen, any decision we make in regards to adoption is solely to put the cats best interests first and we reserve the right to make that decision based on the information we have.

Any paperwork that we need you to complete must be done electronically, we cannot accept this any other way at the moment.

For all rescues and strays or for rehoming your own cat please contact 0345 260 1253, or via our 'contact us' page, giving as much information as possible.
