Welcome

Hello and welcome to our Folkestone and Hythe Branch Cats Protection Website.

Kitten Season is well upon us and we have had several litters this year already.

Nesta’s Kittens, pictured here, are growing fast. They are nearly six weeks old now, and their foster mum reports they are into everything and full of mischief and fun. They are each developing their own characters and as you can see from the picture now whilst all are tabby like mum they are all quite distinctively different colours. They will be ready to leave mum and go off to their new homes at around nine weeks old, when they will have had their vaccinations for the year. Nesta will also be looking for her new forever home when the kittens are old enough.

Nesta will also be looking for her new forever home when the kittens are old enough too.

Our website is still undergoing some maintenance and changes, so remember to keep checking back for new and interesting updates on a regular basis, including a Success stories page coming soon.

If you have any comments or suggestions on anything you would like to see on here then please email our editor, Alice, at folkestonecats@ntlworld.com  who would welcome any ideas or suggestions.

We always have a selection of cats looking for new homes so if you are looking for a cat to share your life you might be just who one of our cats is looking for.

We are always on the look out for more volunteers so if you feel you have any time to spare, whether it be regular, occasional, or one-off, we would love to hear from you - it's up to you how much time you want to give.

Marley and MarcieCan you give Marley and Marcie a home?

Marley and Marcie are a very friendly brother and sister tabby pair, who came into us when their owner could no longer care for them due to having to move to smaller accommodation. Marcie, female, is around a year old and Marley, male, two. They have always been together and love each other’s company and are seeking a loving new home as a pair. Marcie is extremely loving and seeks attention all the time whilst Marley is a little quieter and more reserved but still a very friendly cat.
